I wanted to take the next step and have everything running on the FPGA: camera interface, image processing, CRT display, and printer driver. Here’s where I got:
In addition to learning more about FPGAs in the process, this updated version has a few improvements:
-no computer is needed, all processing happens on the FPGA
-video from camera is dithered and displayed realtime
-a cheap readily available camera was utilized (OV7670)
-manual adjustment knobs for white balance, exposure, etc.
